Tintri to Present at New England VMUG this Thursday, July 21

We’re pleased to announce that our own Chris Bennett will be presenting at the New England VMUG this coming Thursday, July 21. His session, “Stop the LUN-acy: Next-Generation Flash Storage for VMs,” will be part of the Summer Slammer series and will be held in room 227.

Chris will be addressing how storage bottle necks can slow down virtualization adoption in the enterprise--and how you can overcome them without spending a fortune on storage arrays.

Specific topics to be covered include:

  1. How Tintri's unique approach - VM-aware storage – provides affordable flash performance for VMs.
  2. Challenges posed by traditional storage virtual environments and how emerging technologies will revolutionize storage cost per VM and ease of use.
  3. Storage performance issues that can occur when virtualizing databases.
  4. How Tintri’s customers are using the Tintri VMstore appliance to virtualize databases and other complex applications successfully.

We’ll also be doing a live demo of Tintri VMstore during our afternoon session, so be sure to swing by if you’ll be in attendance.

I won’t be making the trip to New England myself, but my colleague John Shedlosky will be there. Be sure to stop by and visit him - we’ve got some cool giveaways planned. I’ll be at the Indianapolis VMUG the following week alongside our CEO Kieran Harty. See you soon!
