Tintri's 2015 vExperts

VM vExpertVMware just came out with its list of vExperts for 2015, and again Tintri was well represented—nine of our employees were recognized.

It makes great sense to us—all of our employees live and breathe virtualization. These nine represent all of us, and indeed they are a cross section of what makes Tintri special. Some have been with Tintri for weeks; others from our beginnings in 2008. Several have had long careers with technology vendors; others were customers that jumped to Tintri due to a deep-seated belief in our approach.

All are united around Tintri’s mission to challenge the storage quo with a system built specifically for virtualized and cloud environments. And they all care about and contribute to the broader virtualization and storage communities. Here are our vExperts—we’re so proud!

Merlin Boissonneault—continues his vExpert streak, having recently joined Tintri as Senior Systems Engineer for Western Canada. He’s active on twitter @merlindb

Rob Girard—this makes two years in a row for Rob, who joined Tintri’s Technical Marketing team last year after 10+ years managing virtualization from the customer side. Connect with this expert @robgirard.

Justin Lauer—continues his streak of being included on every vExpert list (that’s seven years running). He’s also one of Tintri’s earliest employees and a regular on Twitter @Justin_Lauer.

Todd Lewey—a star Sales Engineer in the Southeast, this marks a vExpert hat-trick for Todd. You can stay tuned to his ideas and musings via Twitter @tlewey.

Scott Sauer—joined Tintri directly from VMware, where he earned VCP and TCSE honors in addition to regular recognition as a vExpert. Scott regularly blogs on related topics at www.virtualinsanity.com and tweets @ssauer.

Satinder Sharma—joined Tintri last year after an eight-year stint at NetApp. Today he’s our Senior Systems Engineer operating out of Toronto, Canada. He also has a great blog at www.virtualdatablocks.com and is on Twitter @storarch

Trent Steele—also represents the Southeast as a Sales Engineer for Tintri. Prior to joining our team in 2012, he co-founded the Greensboro, NC VMUG. He writes a consistently thoughtful blog at www.thevbox.net and can be found on Twitter @thevbox

Rob Waite—was one of our first hires in Melbourne, Australia. His fascination with virtualization dates back to 2000, and continues today at www.living-in-clouds.net and on Twitter @rob_waite_oz.

Clint Wyckoff—is another new addition to the Tintri family, joining <1 year ago after spending time at VEEAM. Follow @clintwyckoff for insight and the inside scoop on virtualization.

Got vExperts? We've got a few.
