VMworld US runs next week in Las Vegas. As usual, it’ll be a busy week for us. We’ve got three sessions on the agenda, including an updated presentation on vNUMA & pNUMA (a standing room only session that was repeated three times last year due to popular demand).
Then we’ve got our booth. We’ll be running theater demos throughout the day – come by to see our latest and greatest products. For example, last week we announced Tintri Cloud Connector, an easy way to tie your on-premises Tintri footprint to AWS and IBM Cloud Object Storage. Plus, we released compute analytics and storage vMotion offload. VMworld is your chance to see these demos—as with all things Tintri, they’re simple, visual, only take a few clicks and will totally reset your expectations of storage.
One of the things I enjoy most about VMworld is the chance to connect with customers. And while VMworld is a concentrated dose, staying close to customers is a priority for Tintri throughout the year. So we work closely with our online community of 1,000+ customers, and seek feedback via Customer Advisory Boards all year round.
That’s also why we’ve taken steps to flatten our sales organization—the sales leaders of our Americas and International organizations now report directly to me. That ensures we can best support our field and bring the voice of the customer to teams at headquarters. We’ve seen that our customers are a constant well of ideas, and they motivate us to push the boundaries of enterprise cloud.
The best evidence is our line-up of Fall product releases—by far our most ambitious ever. And while our engineers have been busy developing enterprise cloud solutions, our partner team has been expanding enterprise cloud know-how. We’ve rolled out new cloud certifications that dig into automation and self-service, so partners can better help their customers deploy their own cloud.
That’s because Tintri is committed to two things—to the promise of enterprise cloud … delivering the agility of public cloud with the control only possible in your data center, and to our customers.
