Rick Ehrhart is Tintri’s Developer Evangelist with a strong software development background focusing on APIs. Rick has assisted many companies with API integrations including VMware, NetApp, HP, IBM, Cisco, and Citrix. Rick’s current blog focuses on Tintri APIs.
Prior to joining Tintri in May 2015, Rick worked at NetApp, Pinnacle, Hewlett Packard, and Hughes Aircraft where he work on a wide variety of projects: service level objectives, GUI front-ends, APIs, access control, rsh, telnet, video file systems, I/O systems, bit-mapped graphics, volume management, escalation engineering, and training. Rick received a BS in chemistry and still enjoys science as well as travel, sci-fi, gardening, railroading, and Legos.
Unique control with VM-level actions for infrastructure functions including snapshots, replication and QoS make protection and performance certain in production, and accelerate test and development cycles.
